Rumor: References To Nintendo Switch Recently Added Into Call Of Duty Website’s Source Code

Switch fans might be in for some Call of Duty news, based on some new findings by curious dataminers.

Apparently, trawling through the Call of Duty website’s source code now turns up some references to the Nintendo Switch! In particular, specific phrases such as ‘nxdock’ pop up along with the console’s name – and they appear to be recent additions. Check it out below, courtesy of BadFive:

While completely up to speculation, this code seems to hint that Activision may update the website to reflect Nintendo Switch support in the future! As with all unconfirmed information, however, we urge NintendoSoup readers to take all of this with a grain of skepticism. We’ll report back if this story develops further.

In the meantime: what do you think about this? Would you love a Call of Duty game on Switch? Let us know in the comments section below!
