Following a brief movie description, a new rumor has surfaced about Nintendo’s plans for the Legend Of Zelda live-action movie.
According to industry insider Daniel Richtman, Nintendo and Sony are pushing ahead with developing a full trilogy of Legend of Zelda movies. Richtman claims that the film’s main actors have already been signed on with three film contract spanning six years, presumably the amount of time it will take to film all three installments if they go through.
If Richtman’s info is correct, it seems that Nintendo and Sony have very high hopes for the project, having greenlit sequels before the first film has even been released. Whether or not these plans go through however, will likely come down to how the movie performs at the box office when it releases in 2027.
