Rune Factory 5 ‘Earthmate Edition’ Physical Release Revealed

It looks like Rune Factory fans will be able to grab a jam-packed physical edition of the upcoming Rune Factory 5 in the near future!

XSEED Games has revealed that the game will be launching with a special ‘Earthmate Edition’ physical release for Nintendo Switch. At $79.99 USD each, the bundle contains the game cartridge in an exclusive SteelBook case, a softcover artbook, a soundtrack CD, and 13 exclusive in-game costumes!

TORRANCE, Calif. – Oct. 7, 2021 – XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA Inc., today unveiled the limited retail ‘Earthmate Edition’ for Rune Factory 5, which is launching on the Nintendo Switch™ system on Mar. 22, 2022. The company is pleased to confirm that pre-orders for the ‘Earthmate Edition’ will be available through the XSEED Games Store and participating retailers soon.

The Rune Factory 5 ‘Earthmate Edition’ has a suggested retail price of $79.99 and includes the following contents:

• Custom outer box featuring artwork from series illustrator Minako Iwasaki
• Rune Factory 5 Nintendo Switch™ game card in an exclusive SteelBook® case
• Large 5.8” by 8.2” softcover artbook with over 70 pages of character illustrations, concept art, and more
• ‘Melodies of Norad’ soundtrack CD featuring 15 songs specially selected from across the entire Rune Factory series
• 13 exclusive in-game costumes based on the marriage candidates (+ Dolce’s ghostly companion Pico) from Rune Factory
