This week, Kojima Productions will be releasing Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, the highly anticipated follow-up to the acclaimed “strand-type” open world adventure game.
As highlighted by VGC, Players who have gotten their hands on the game early have spotted an unexpected name in the credits: Nintendo Pictures. Formerly “Dynamo Pictures”, this visual content company was acquired by Nintendo back in 2022 to work on their games and other visual projects. They have since worked on The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Pikmin 4, Super Mario Bros. Wonder and more.
Dynamo Pictures previously worked with Kojima Productions on Death Stranding 1, and it seems likely that any work they did for Death Stranding 2 was before they were acquired and turned into Nintendo Pictures. Even so, its interesting to see Nintendo appear in the credits of this game given that both Death Stranding titles are Playstation exclusives.
