It looks like the new rice-farming action adventure Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin has become quite a runaway success!
Publisher Marvelous and developer Edelweiss have revealed that the game’s total worldwide shipments and digital sales have exceeded 500,000 copies! This was essentially achieved in just 15 days – ever since the title debuted on 10 November 2020.
As previously reported, this unprecedented success for the title boosted Marvelous’ stock price until it had to be suspended momentarily. At this rate, the game will probably have no problem surpassing a million copies in the future – especially given all of the praise its getting from players across the globe!
