As part of the ongoing “Flying Pikachu Project” campaign to promote tourism for Japan’s Okinawa island last year, The Pokemon Company kicked off a collaboration with Japanese low-cost airline Skymark to launch the Pikachu Jet BC – an aircraft with a Pikachu-themed design. Well, that airplane will soon be flying with a matching companion soon!
Both companies have announced the Pikachu Jet BC2, a new passenger plane which will be taking flight from May 2022. This time, the aircraft will feature designs of Flying Pikachu with other Pokemon such as Magikarp, Wailord, and Shaymin (Sky Forme)!
