Ahead of the imminent launch of Sonic Frontiers, SEGA has shared an important announcement regarding the game’s Digital Deluxe DLC.
As shared on the official Sonic Twitter account, players who purchased the Digital Deluxe version of Sonic Frontiers will need to install the DLC before starting their game. This is because the DLC content will not work if it is installed after the tutorial area. Players will also need to update their game to the most recent patch before installing the DLC. This requirement only applies to the items in the Digital Deluxe Version, and future DLC can be installed at any time, not just before the tutorial.
At the time of this writing, the exact reason for this restriction is not known. That said, players who purchased the Digital Deluxe version of Sonic Frontiers may wish to heed this advice so they can access the DLC content properly.
