Yacht Club Games has published an update concerning the physical release of Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove, the new games Shovel Knight: King of Cards and Shovel Knight Showdown, as well as the Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove amiibo 3-Pack.
According to the studio, all products listed above have been delayed by several months. They were originally scheduled to launch on April 9, 2019. The reason for the delay is to ensure Shovel Knight: King of Cards and Showdown are of the highest quality possible, so they need more time to polish the games. As Yacht Club Games hopes to release everything at the same time, the physical release and amiibo have also been pushed back.
A new release date will be announced as soon as Yacht Club Games ensures everything is ready. The company promises fans this will be the very last delay.
On a side note, this delay should also apply to the (not yet officially announced) Shovel Knight Gold Edition amiibo which we broke last December.
