Bad news for Shovel Knight fans – the upcoming Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove physical edition for Nintendo Switch, Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove amiibo Triple Pack, and the unofficially revealed amiibo Shovel Knight Gold Edition have all been delayed again.
We have previously reported the game and two amiibo SKUs were scheduled to release in May 2019. It was then postponed to June 2019. As June is ending, NintendoSoup has asked sources in the supply chain to find out what is going on with all three products.
NintendoSoup has received word that all three products now have a Q4 2019 launch window, which means their release date will fall anytime between October and December 2019.
Given that Yacht Club Games wants to release all Treasure Trove products at the same time, both amiibo SKUs have been delayed again in order to wait for Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove to go gold.
