Previously, we reported that Skullgirls 2nd Encore for Switch would be launching sometime in Spring 2019. Sadly, it looks like fans will have to endure a slightly longer wait.
Those who pre-ordered the game (or its Limited Edition bundle) are now receiving email updates them that it will see a delay until Late Summer/Early Fall 2019 instead. These emails only cite that ‘production hiccups’ as a reason behind the issue.
As compensation, however, these pre-ordering customers will receive a digital code for the game six weeks before the physical edition launches. Talk about amazing customer service!
We’ll report back when we hear about the game’s new release date. Stay tuned.
