Previously, we reported that The Walking Dead: The Final Season was in jeopardy of being canceled.
Now, it seems like a ray of hope has finally arrived. Apparently, Skybound Games has struck a deal with Telltale Games to complete development on the game’s remaining episodes! Check out their tweet below.
In a Variety article, Skybound Games also mentioned that they would like to get back Telltale’s Walking Dead development team if possible!
What’s equally awesome is that Skybound Games is headed by Robert Kirkman – the original creator of The Walking Dead series!
All in all, it seems like Clement’s story has a good chance of seeing completion now! Despite Telltale Games’ unfortunate closure, let’s hope their star project can still go out with a bang.
