It looks like Sonic the Hedgehog fans might be receiving some big news during The Game Awards 2021 show this week.
SEGA’s official Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter account has teased that Sonic will have some sort of presence at the event, which will take place on 9 December 2021 (8 PM ET / 5 PM PT). This was revealed during a playful conversation between The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley and the official Sonic Twitter account:
Along with various indications that SEGA is preparing to reveal its 2022 Sonic the Hedgehog game, this seems to suggest that we may finally get a new look at what the company has in the works. Of course, this bizarre Twitter conversation could just purely be for fun.
