Earlier this year, SEGA revealed that a new “Dark Beginnings” animated prologue would act as a prelude to the upcoming Sonic x Shadow Generations. Well, we finally have a peek at what the three-episode series will look like.
At Anime Expo 2024, Sega and Studio Giggex released a new preview for the series, which shows Shadow speaking with Maria before an unexpected incident shakes their home. Check it out below:
Sonic x Shadow Generations is due to launch for Nintendo Switch on 25 October 2024, while the “Dark Beginnings” prequel will debut in Fall 2024. We’ll report back as we hear more in the future.
