Sony Interactive Entertainment’s free-to-use game engine, PhyreEngine, appears to be compatible with Nintendo Switch.
PhyreEngine has been used to power many games in recent years, including but not limited to Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, OlliOlli 2, Gunslugs, and Dragon Quest Builders. PhyreEngine is supported on all recent Sony PlayStation hardware, as well as Xbox One, iOS, and Android.
The revelation of PhyreEngine’s support on Nintendo Switch came from the licensing document of the free Dragon Quest Builders demo, which was developed by using PhyreEngine.
