Space Invaders: Invincible Collection Revealed For Switch, Launches In 2020

Following the rumors of its existence shared last week, Taito Corporation has announced Space Invaders: Invincible Collection for Nintendo Switch, scheduled to release in 2020.

As the title suggests, Space Invaders: Invincible Collection is a compilation of six different Space Invaders games in commemoration of the series’ 40th Anniversary. The collection notably includes Space Invaders Cyclone, which has never been released for consoles.

The announcement was made via a 4-page feature on Space Invaders published in the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu, which contains the full list of 6 games in the collection, as well as special interviews with Space Invaders developer Tomohiro Nishikado and producer Yuuichi Toyama. We will bring more details as they come.
