During yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, Atlus announced Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore is coming to Nintendo Switch in January 2020.
Though the announcement was well received around the world, it angered Spanish gamers because of the lack of localization. The game’s official listing on the Nintendo eShop confirmed that the only languages supported are Japanese, English, French, and Chinese. French is a newly added language to the game as the Wii U version was never localized in French.
As Spanish is a major language in the world, Spanish speakers have started voicing their displeasure on official social media entities owned by Nintendo, with some even condemning the western censorship that appears in the Encore version.
