Earlier this month, Nighthawk Interactive announced a Nintendo Switch physical release for Enter the Gungeon launching at retail in June 2019.
After the Nighthawk physical release was revealed, things have become really confusing for collectors and Enter the Gungeon fans. Back in 2018, Special Reserve Games announced they’d handle the physical release, and after Nighthawk came along with their physical release in 2019, Special Reserve insisted it’s still on the cards.
Now it seems what Special Reserve said was true, as they have updated their upcoming releases page with key artwork for Enter the Gungeon. This means Enter the Gungeon is receiving not one but two physical releases from two different publishers:
