The Pokemon Company has revealed the next Max Raid Event for Pokemon Sword And Shield.
This time, the event revolves around various Steel and Rock Type Pokemon, which will appear as Raid Battles at higher rates starting from June 30th. That said, it seems that the event is currently bugged, as it is attempting to call for a drop item that doesn’t exist in the game’s code. This bug will presumably be fixed soon.
The list of featured Pokemon can be found below:
- Onix, Steelix
- Rhydon, Rhyhorn, Rhyperior
- Galarian Meowth, Perrserker
- Rolycoly, Carkoal, Coalossal, Gigantamax Coalossal
- Cufant, Copperajah, Gigantamax Copperajah
Do note that in order to activate these events, players will have to select “Get Wild Area News” in the Mystery Gift option. Our Raid Battle Guide has been updated accordingly with this new information.

[UPDATE]: The bug with the raid battles has since been patched, meaning the players will no longer experience errors or crashes while completing them.
