Story Of Seasons Producer Leaves Marvelous To Start Up Hakama

Yoshifumi Hashimoto, the producer of the Story of Seasons and Rune Factory games, has left Marvelous Games to start up a new company called Hakama.

Hashimoto stepped down from his positions of Executive Officer and Chief Creative Officer at Marvelous before starting Hakama with a group of like-minded colleagues. As Hakama’s President and CEO, Hashimoto is currently working on their first project, Dragon Marked for Death.

Keep in mind Hakama is a subsidiary owned by Marvelous, but how the development of future Story of Seasons and Rune Factory games are affected by this remains unknown.
