The official Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Twitter in Japan has confirmed that players will be able to commence the game’s new “Bowser’s Fury” mode immediately. When starting up the game, all players need to do is select the new adventure on the right-hand side of the main screen:

“Super Mario 3D World and Bowser’s Fury can be selected from the title screen, and you can enjoy your favorite mode at any time. Which adventure do you start with?“

This is certainly good news for those who may have already experienced the original Super Mario 3D World on the Wii U, and prefer to jump into Bowser’s Fury without delay! For players who are completely new to Super Mario 3D World, however, it may as well be two games in one!
