Super Mario Maker 1’s Last Unbeaten Course Has Been Cleared

Last year, Nintendo announced that online services for the Wii U and 3DS would be ending in April 2024, including support for Super Mario Maker, meaning that no new levels for the game would be created in the future.

The announcement inspired the Super Mario Maker community known as Team 0 Percent to intensify their efforts to clear every single course ever created for the game. As of March 23rd 2024, this goal has finally been achieved. The final legitimate course was cleared by @Yamada_SMM2, fittingly titled “The Last Dance”.

After this monumental achievement, the next goal for Team 0 Percent is to clear every level in Super Mario Maker 2, although its likely this won’t be achieved for quite some time. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
