Super Mario Party Jamboree Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV has officially launched in all major markets today, and many players have raised complaints over how the game’s content is being handled.

The first major complaint is about the way new content and old content are handled. In the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of the game, the title screen has been divided into three modes – Super Mario Party Jamboree (the base game), Jamboree TV (new DLC exclusive to the Switch 2 Edition), and GameShare.

As content is being split between three different modes, players couldn’t access certain mini games, rules, and content in one mode or the other.

The second major complaint is about how the game’s visual upgrades, which are seemingly exclusive to the Jamboree TV mode. This means that players can’t enjoy the improved visuals while playing the Super Mario Party Jamboree base game, which runs in 720p in Handheld mode and 1080p in TV mode.

Given that Nintendo promised that the game offers visual upgrades, some players are unhappy that the base game does not offer these improvements, as they were under the impression that the visual upgrades would apply across the board.
