Nintendo has renewed several trademarks for Super Mario characters in Japan.
The trademarks include two ‘M’ logos representing Mario, two ‘L’ logos representing Luigi, Yoshi’s egg, and Peach castle. It appears that the trademarks will be used for commercial purposes, rather than for video games. So you can expect to see these logos on merchandise and other products.
