Although the opening has been delayed due to the pandemic, Super Nintendo World Japan is still hard at work preparing for the day it does finally open its doors to the public.
According to several reports, the park has been running “Technical Rehearsals” for staff to rehearse their positions and duties. Signs posted around the park also imply that the park has been taking visitors as part of these rehearsals, although the signs explicitly tell them not to post pictures or video to social media until after the grand opening.
That said, these warnings do not seem to have stopped some park enthusiasts from posting pictures of the park online. Among the most interesting are a photos of the restocked Super Nintendo World merch that is available at the Universal Studios Store, including “clothing, accessories, toys, gift tins, instant mushroom risotto, and more”.
If you would like to check the photos out for yourself, you can find a collection of them here.
