Super Smash Bros. amiibo Reprints In The US Come With Japanese Words

Earlier this year, we discovered Nintendo was moving toward a single universal packaging for all of their future amiibo releases starting from the Octoling amiibo and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate amiibo.

It appears that the same “universal packaging” standard has applied to all Super Smash Bros. amiibo reprints. Reddit user CreativeName487 spotted this Mario reprint with Japanese words at a Target in California:

The back of the box includes text in English, Japanese, and Spanish.

It’s currently unclear whether the same universal packaging standard will apply to Europe, as we’ve seen them doing otherwise for their latest reprints.
