Super Smash Bros. Creator Masahiro Sakurai Is Ending His YouTube Video Series This Year

Back in 2022, Super Smash Bros. series creator Masahiro Sakurai kicked off his own YouTube channel with regular videos about his views and experiences on game development. Well, it looks like Sakurai will be moving on from this informative series soon.

Sakurai has announced that he has plans to “wrap up Masahiro Sakurai on Creating Games sometime this year”, indicating the end of his video series at some point in 2024. To date, Sakurai has posted more than 180 videos on the channel – many of which touch upon the technical knowledge he gained while developing the Super Smash Bros. series, as well as his broader love for gaming.
