Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Returns To No. 1 On The Japanese Bestseller Charts

Famitsu has announced the video game sales rankings for Japan from the period of May 20 to May 26, 2019.

Last week, Nintendo wiped the slate clean, where out of the top 10 bestsellers, 8 are on Nintendo Switch. The No. 1 bestseller was Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which sold 8662 copies in Japan.

Nintendo Switch hardware sales fell to an all time low last week, with 25,936 systems sold. However, it seems that the industry is facing a downward trend as PS4 and PS4 Pro sales dropped to 5562 and 4080 systems respectively.
