While it is hard to get hold of a Switch as of now, Switch games are expected to accelerate in sales.
According to statistics firm Media Create, Switch Games have been flying off shelves quickly thanks to the high demand for Nintendo Switches. From their data (link), the average attach rate of Switch owners is 17.2, that means that Switch owners on average own about 17 games.
This has increase since the last time Media Create released similar data (link), back them the Switch only had an attach rate of 1.6.
Yet Media Create thinks that the attach rate is only going to grow. With a strong lineup running up to the holidays, such as Splatoon 2 and Mario Odyssey, the Nintendo Switch is poised for a strong holiday showing.
