Nintendo has published their latest earnings report for the nine months ending December 31st 2022, revealing some updated sales numbers for their hardware and software.
According to their report, the Switch has sold around 122.55 million units worldwide as of December 31st 2022including the base model, Switch Lite, and OLED models. This figure surpasses that of the Game Boy (118.69 Million) and the Playstation 4 (117.2 million). Taken together, this makes the Switch the third best selling console of all time, behind the Nintendo DS (154.02 Million) and the Playstation 2 (155 Million)
As for software, Nintendo’s total software sales for Switch have reached over 994 million units.
