Switch Lite Has The Same Performance As The Original, But Has A More Efficient Processor

Just recently, the world has seen the gaming industry’s newest console when Nintendo unveiled the Nintendo Switch Lite.

The Switch Lite is a portable device purely dedicated to handheld play, according to Nintendo. Since it’s a newer model, many fans are getting curious on how different it is from the original in terms of performance. While Nintendo have released side-by-side comparison of both hardware, there is no mention of the Switch Lite’s performance.

Talking with The Verge, Nintendo have confirmed that there is actually no performance difference between the existing model and the upcoming budget-device. However, the Switch Lite has a more power-efficient chip layout which results to it having a longer battery life than the original. This more efficient processor also activates smaller heat vents located on top of the device.

No further information about the Switch Lite’s internal specifications has been revealed as of yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted as further details on the matter are made available.
