Nintendo has published their latest earnings release for the nine months ending December 31st 2020, revealing some updated sales numbers for their hardware and software.
According to their report, the Switch has sold around 79.87 million units worldwide as of December 31st 2020. 11.57 million of these Switch units were sold over the last three months leading up to December 31st. In light of this performance, Nintendo has revised its forecast for Switch hardware units sold during the current fiscal year from 24 million Switch units, to 26.5 million units.
As for software, 75.85 million software units were sold during the last three months leading up to December 31st. As such, Nintendo has shared updated sales figures for their Top 10 best-selling first-party Switch titles, along with additional sales figures for more recently released games.
The updates figures include the first sales numbers for Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity (2.84 million excluding Japan), as well as Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit (1.08 million).
