Bandai Namco Entertainment is pondering about bringing the Sword Art Online franchise to Nintendo Switch.
During a Q&A session, Sword Art Online series Producer Yosuke Futami and Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Producer Keishi Minami said they are seriously considering expanding Sword Art Online to Switch.
Minami mentioned he is “first and foremost a gamer”, so he would like to see Sword Art Online on Switch. He’s now talking to Futami and his superiors to see whether they could make it happen.
As many customers and members of the Sword Art Online fanbase are playing Nintendo Switch, Futami said he’s fully considering it and feels positive about the idea.
