Choice Provisions has pushed out a new update for their latest game, Runner3. The new update, which you can now download from the Nintendo Switch eShop, will contain bug fixes and improvements. Gamers who experienced problems with the Retro Challenge should also see a fix in the issue.
8 years ago, Bit.Trip Runner first released on the WiiWare service as part of the popular Bit.Trip series. Then 5 years ago, its sequel Bit.Trip Presents… Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien graced the Wii U’s eShop. Both games were absolutely fantastic, so the Switch’s Runner3 has a long legacy to live up to. Does this thrilling three-quel live up to the promise of its predecessors? Runner3 is finally out and Runner veterans would notice some changes since the last game. Explaining the changes, Choice Provisions’ co-founders Alex Neuse and Mike Roush spoke to TinyCartridge about them.
Previously we got to see what seems like the voice of Mario, Charles Martinet, being a playable character on Runner3’s trailer. It has now been confirmed that Martinet will be appearing in the game as himself.
Runner3 is shaping out to be one of the more ambitious crossovers this year with several characters due to appear in it.
