Taiko No Tatsujin: Drum ‘n Fun Elementary School Tournament Announced In Japan

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced a Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n Fun tournament open only to elementary school age children in Japan.

The tournament will run from November 23, 2018 to March 12, 2019. Qualifiers will begin at select video game retail locations across Japan, followed by the finals taking place at the Winter 2019 World Hobby Fair in Nagoya, Tokyo, and Osaka (16 competitors at each location).

A grand finale featuring one winner from World Hobby Fair Nagoya, Tokyo, and Osaka respectively will be held in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Keep in mind only Furi Furi (motion controls) are used in this tournament. Button controls are not allowed.
