Following the reveal of Idris Elba as Knuckles, we now have confirmation of another member of the Sonic The Hedgehog movie sequel’s main voice cast.
As revealed on Twitter, Tails’ current voice actor from the games and other media Colleen O’Shaughnessey will be returning to play the character for Sonic The Hedgehog 2. O’Shaughnessey has been Tails’ primary voice actor since 2014, and also voiced him in his brief cameo appearance at the end of the first film.
In the replies, Sonic’s voice actor for the movie Ben Schwartz as well as the film’s director Jeff Fowler shared their congratulations as well, as seen below:
Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is planned to premier on April 22, 2022.
