Su Tseng-chang, the premier of Taiwan, has shared a message about Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
The premier wrote on his Facebook post that Taiwan will “never ban a game about picking up branches and growing trees and making fun of the government”, in reference to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. He also encouraged everyone to play games “as much as possible” and iterated that democracy and freedom of speech are “core values” of Taiwan.
Su’s message could be referring to China’s ban on Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
