Takara Tomy Japan Announces Official Dynamax Band Toy, Now Up For Pre-Order

Want to Dynamax your Pokemon in real life? Soon you’ll be able to do so, thanks to this neat toy from Japan!

Takara Tomy Japan has announced the release of an official Dynamax Band, as worn by trainers in Pokemon Sword/Shield. Shaking the toy will produce various lights and sound effects in two modes – “Dynamax Mode” (where the user can roleplay at Dynamaxing their Pokemon) and “Cheer Mode” (where the user can hear 14 phrases from Ash, Goh, and Leon). Additionally, users can tap the Dynamax Band with Pokemon Mezastar to activate Dynamax in the arcade game.

The toy will officially launch in Japan on 11 February 2021, but you can also pre-order it right now from Amazon Japan over here (ships worldwide). Check out our guide first if you are new to shopping on Amazon Japan.
