Team17, the creator of the successful Worms franchise, has confirmed their plans to go public on the London Stock Exchange.
The company will be listed at a £200 million valuation (USD280 million). Team17 is planning to offer a 50% stake on AIM, a sub market of the London Stock Exchange.
Debbie Bestwick, founder of Team17, believes the IPO will enable Team17 to “capitalize on our position as a leading independent video games label for indie developers, as well as continuing to successfully develop our own intellectual property in-house”.
Team17 is a publisher of a large variety of Nintendo Switch indie games, including but not limited to Yooka-Laylee, Worms W.M.D., and Raging Justice.
