Even amidst huge lay-offs and an impending closure, it seems Telltale Games cannot get a break.
Former employee Vernie Roberts is now suing the development studio in a class-action lawsuit. The case argues that Telltale Games let go of employees “without cause” and with no “advance written notice as required by the WARN Act.”
Furthermore, Vernie claims that Telltale Games laid off 275 employees unfairly – a little higher than what initial reports suggested.
It’s unfortunate that Telltale Games is now in such a state. Let’s hope that the 275 former employees find some justice, at least.
