Nintendo has announced the next Maximus Cup competition for Tetris 99, featuring another crossover with one of its newest titles.
A new theme based on Paper Mario: The Origami King will be featured in the 15th Tetris 99 Maximus cup that starts on July 31st, and can be unlocked just by playing the game online. Tetris 99 is a free game for players with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

The Tetris 99 15th MAXIMUS CUP event runs from 12 a.m. PT on July 31 to 11:59 p.m. PT on August 3. To participate, you’ll need to be a Nintendo Switch Online member* and play the Tetris 99 online mode during the event period. You’ll earn event points based on your placement in each
