Nintendo has announced a tournament for Tetris 99 which is happening later this week and here is the description.
Battle your way to the top in Tetris® 99, a competitive online version of the iconic game.
With a Nintendo Switch Online membership, you’ll be able to put your speed and skills to the test—and try to knock out opponents.
Reach the very pinnacle of Tetris achievement by becoming the last player standing!
March 8 at 5 a.m. PT through March 10 at 11:59 p.m. PT
Get ready to participate in the Tetris® 99 MAXIMUS CUP online event, beginning on March 8th! Win first place (you’ll see TETRIS MAXIMUS on the results screen when you do) as many times as you can! After the event, the top 999 players with the most TETRIS MAXIMUS wins will be notified, and will each receive 999 My Nintendo Gold Points!
