Earlier this week, we received further confirmation that The Elder Scrolls: Blades would be hitting the Switch eShop on 14 May 2020. While the game will be offered as a free download that anyone can jump into, it looks like those that want a early boost can get it…at a price.
The North American Switch eShop now lists a separate ‘Quick-Start Edition’ of the game as well, which will launch for $14.99 USD on the same day. According to its description, this edition of the game is fundamentally the same as the free download version – but players will start with exclusive armor and a weapon from the character Durak gro-Batul. Additionally, the Quick Start Edition will include extra scrolls, materials, 2,000 gems, and 30,000 gold to kick off your adventure.
What do you think? Would you buy this edition of the game over the free version? Feel free to share your thoughts below.
