Nintendo has announced that that two of its big Switch titles will be getting fresh releases!
Namely, the company shared that it would be publishing new physical versions of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Splatoon 2, which will be bundled with their respective expansion DLC content. It is currently unclear if the DLC content will be on the cartridge itself, or will be included as separate download codes.
Both of these packages will be launching on 8 October 2021 in Japan – the same day as the Nintendo Switch (OLED Model).
Currently, Nintendo has not announced similar physical editions in the west. We’ll report back if that changes in the future. Stay tuned!
