In today’s fiscal earnings results, Nintendo updated the sales figures for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the 9 months ending December 31, 2018.
Lifetime sales for the Switch version are 11.68 million units as of December 31, 2018, and the Wii U version sold 1.5 million units the last time we heard official stats for the Wii U version.
Adding both up together, Breath of the Wild has sold at least 13.18 million units worldwide since its debut in 2017, about 5 million copies more than The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
