Earlier this year, Private Division officially revealed that The Outer Worlds would launch on Switch as just a digital code in a physical box. Well, we have a good yet unfortunate update on the situation today.
For starters, the game’s developers seem to have changed their decision – and will now be releasing the game as an actual physical cartridge instead! However, the actual release of the Switch port will now see a delay, due to the porting team at Virtuos closing their office to wait out the recent 2019 coronavirus outbreak. As such, the game will not be meeting its original 6 March 2020 release date.
We’ll report back as we hear more about the game’s release. Stay tuned!
