It looks like the super-beloved Persona series has achieved yet another massive milestone in its young lifespan.
Recently, Altus revealed on its Japanese blog that the series has exceeded 10 million in copies sold worldwide. This supposedly includes spin-offs such as Persona Q and Persona Q2 for the 3DS – although Atlus did not provide an exact sales breakdown across the series.
It’s definitely quite the achievement for what started as a very niche RPG franchise. For now, the action title Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is slated for a future release on Nintendo Switch. Meanwhile, many Nintendo fans are still praying for an actual Persona 5 port to make it to Switch someday.
Here’s hoping the series continues to grow and touch more hearts in the future!
