The Pokemon Company And DeNA Set Up New Subsidiary To Manage Pokemon TCG Pocket

The Pokemon Company and DeNA have set up a new company to manage their upcoming new mobile app Pokemon TCG Pocket.

The subsidiary was formed by changing the name of DeNA Digital Production Co. Ltd to Pokemon Card D Studio, with its primary goal being to develop and manage Pokemon TCG Pocket. The new company is 66.6% owned by the Pokemon Company, with DeNA owning the remaining 33.4%.

The formation of this new venture demonstrates the commitment of The Pokemon Company to this new app, which so far has received mostly lukewarm reception from fans. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
