The Pokemon Company has announced their plans for this year’s Pokemon Day, which is held on February 27th in commemoration of the release of Pokemon Red/Green.

These plans were detailed in a news post published on the official Pokemon website, and includes celebration plans for Pokemon Sword/Shield, Pokemon GO, and Pokemon Masters. The most notable announcement however is the reveal of a brand new Mythical Pokemon for Pokemon Sword/Shield, which will also star in the upcoming Pokemon Coco anime film.

• First and foremost, a brand new Mythical Pokémon is to be revealed. This Pokémon will star in the new movie Coco and be available in Pokémon Sword & Shield
• A special Max Raid Battle will run in Pokémon Sword & Shield
• A special event will run in Pokémon GO
• New information about Pokémon Masters will be revealed
