The Pokemon Company Places 5th In Top 10 Global Brand Licensing Companies For 2021

License Global has published its annual report on the Top 10 Global Licensors for Fiscal Year 2021, recognizing the performance of the world’s top brands, including one that may be of particular interest to the gaming community.

This year, The Pokemon Company has been ranked 5th in the Top 10 Global Brand Licensing Companies for 2021, having earned $8.5B (E) in terms of retail sales for 2021, placing higher than more prolific brands such as Hasbro and Mattel. According to License Global’s analysis, this achievement is most likely due to Pokemon’s massive 25th Anniversary campaign, which brought in significant growth across all Pokemon branded goods.
