The World Of Final Fantasy Maxima Nearly Did Not Make It To The Switch

The World of Final Fantasy Maxima is coming to the Nintendo Switch early next month on 6 November 2018, but this may not always have been the case.

Speaking at TGS, World of Final Fantasy Maxima Director, Hiroki Chiba, said that the team wanted to bring the game to consoles to “balance it out” among other titles. However, Square Enix and Nintendo rejected the idea initially before eventually relenting.

It is not know what made the higher ups at Square Enix and Nintendo change their mind, but it was a good thing that they did.
